Two Legends Become One - Palisades Tahoe

Palisades Tahoe are extremely busy this summer season and for many regular visitors to the resort the 22/23 season they will see a fresh make over. The largest change this coming winter will be the introduction of one of the longest gondolas in the country which will connect the two resorts from base village to base village. Uniting LegendsOne iconic destination, two distinctly different mountains now connected. It’s time to explore more.Four major projects are modernizing the ski experience and ushering in a new era of legendary adventures. In addition to the Base to Base Gondola, a lift connection more than 70 years in the making, this season will also include the highly anticipated opening of the new Red Dog lift, an expansion of the Funitel Plaza, the installation of automatic snowmaking systems at Alpine, and a massive renovation to the Alpine base area. Get ready for a whole new way to experience Palisades Tahoe. It has been the dream of many for decades and, at long last, it is coming true. For winter 2022/23, we are planning to open a yet-to-be-named gondola that connects our two legendary base areas. Palisades Tahoe will now be the 3rd largest ski resort in North America, and the biggest in California.
