California Ski Resort Projected Opening Dates 2022

The first major snowstorm has just rolled through and many of the resorts in California scored a decent amount of snow to begin building that all important base. Mammoth Mountain is reporting 16” of fresh snow across the mountain and they have been able to move their opening date forward to this weekend (5 November). The resorts in and around Lake Tahoe all saw between 8-12” of snowfall + there is much more snow in the forecasts and with the low temps the snow guns will be firing around the clock, this all means we could also see some other early opening dates appear in the coming weeks
