Louis Vuitton is one of the most recognisable brands in the world and is well known for their luxury handbags, travel luggage and clothing lines however when we heard the brand was introducing something new the last thing we thought it would be is an actual snowboard. And a Snowboard that cost $7,450 USD non the less. The luxury brand is selling a snowboard which is released in the name of Virgil Abloom who was the American fashion designer who served as the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear and was an avid snowboarder. Sadly Virgin Abloh tragically died in November 2021 after a two-year battle with cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare cancer. He was 41.

We haven’t seen one of these boards out on the mountain and would expect them to remain super rare but who knows, you might see one at the likes of Beaver Creek, St Moritz or even Cervinia in Italy. We would also be super curious to understand who is making the actual snowboards to better understand what makes it worth $7,450 USD.
