Winter Park Ski Train Resumes January 13th 2023

Driving in the mountains is hard, well doing most things in the mountains is hard but driving can be exceptionally difficult. The mountains in the front range above Denver can be treacherous both from the conditions and the sheer number of drivers on I70. Thankfully for those looking to get up to an incredible ski resort it’s as simple as jumping on a train at Denver’s Union Station which whisk you, your family and your skis/snowboards up to Winter Park Resort. Winter Parks very popular ski train will commence operations again on January 13th and you can get in early to reserve your tickets now. Tickets for adults start at $34 on way and $17 for the kiddies. The schedule for the train operates on Friday’s, Saturday and Sunday’s from January 13th through to the weekend of March 24-26.

Riders will arrive at Winter Park Resort at 9am which is just in time to get onto the lifts. On the return the train departs Winter Park at 4:30pm and will arrive back at Denver at 6:40pm. The train offers riders wider recliner seats, a cafe service and a sightseer lounge which is home to the best views available on the train. Winter Park opened on October 31 and has conditioned to see great snowfall and excellent snow making conditions. This weekend will see the opening of the famed Mary Jane region of the resort which is home to some of the best bumps in both Colorado and North America.
