Snowbasin Resort has announced an extension to their ski season, adding an extra week to make it the longest season in their over 80-year history. Originally set to close on April 16, the resort will now remain open until Sunday, April 23, with a total of 156 ski days on the calendar. General Manager Davy Ratchford expressed his appreciation for season pass holders and his staff, without whom this bonus week would not be possible. In addition, the resort has launched next winter's season passes with the added incentive of skiing for free this spring with purchase. With over 420 inches of snow and more on the way, this season is officially the 5th snowiest on record, and there are still surprises to come.
