We absolutely love spring riding and springtime at Breckenridge is one of the best in North America. The ski resort operates for skiing and riding through April and into May, longer than most other major ski resorts in the country, as long as there's enough snow. With the high alpine, good vibes, and impeccable style, Big Breck Energy is alive and well during the spring season.If you're a fan of skiing and riding in the high alpine, then springtime at Breck is the perfect opportunity. The high alpine is in its prime during our April and May operations. The elevation, cool and dry climate, and Brecks good friend, the wind, usually keep conditions up top snow deposited, chalky, and nicely buffed for your riding pleasure. Breck operates all five peaks at the resort through mid-April, and then the majority of the late spring operations take place in the high alpine as the resort extend into May. From the last half of April and onwards, you can look forward to approximately 1,000 acres of intermediate and advanced terrain across Peaks 6, 7, and 8, primarily accessed via the Peak 7 base and Independence SuperChair.
