Silverstar Ski Resort

Silverstar Mountain Resort is the perfect place to plan your next winter holiday either as a family or as a keen rider looking to take on the abundant champagne powder. Silverstar Mountain Resort is the 5th largest ski resort in British Columbia and 7th largest ski resort in Canada. Silverstar Mountain Resort offers riders 3,281 acres (1,328 hectares) of terrain that is jam packed with ski trails to suit all kinds of riders.

Located in the centre of the ski resort is the Silverstar Mountain Resort village which consists of accommodation, restaurants, bars and shops which suit all visitors to the ski resort. Village central is also where you will find the ticket office, mountain services, a range of ski and snowboard rental stores and the famous Silverstar Mountain Resort ice skating rink.

Typically the end of November is when Silverstar Mountain Resort begins to transform into a winter wonderland and also when the resort starts to see the first of the 700cm (276”) of fresh snowfall begin to fall from the sky. Beginner riders who have graduated from the Silverstar Mountain Resort ski school are going to love the long and wide open beginner trails that make their way from the summit of the ski resort down to the main base of the ski resort at the bottom of the Silver Woods chairlift. Those beginner riders looking for a real challenge can take on the summit to Putnam Creek trail which is the longest beginner trail available at the ski resort.

Intermediate riders are honestly spoilt for choice as incredible trails are spread all throughout the resort. Advanced and expert riders will be out from sunrise to sunset as they take on all the trails graded for them and will likely spend their day lapping the terrain and glades found in the Powder Gulch Express chair at Silverstar Mountain Resort.

Every visitor to Silverstar Mountain Resort will be able to find their exact accommodations preference with hotels, apartments and chalets available in the village. Those looking to stay off the mountain will be able to find exceptionally priced accommodations down in Vernon, BC which is only 23 minutes drive from the base of the ski resort.
