Whilst the ski resorts in and around Lake Tahoe might have seen record breaking snowfalls this winter season it eventually needs to come to an end. We believe many of the locals who live around the lake will be happy to see spring arrive and no major storms in the forecast, they need a break from constantly digging out their houses, they driveways and everything around them. We took a look at the confirmed and predicted closing dates for the ski resorts that surround the lake. Many of the resorts will wrap up operations over the next few weeks of April as the resources required and the cost associated with running the resort would begin to outweigh the number of visitors coming. A handful of resorts will keep the lifts spinning in the start and first half of May with only Palisades Tahoe pushing through to the July 4 long weekend.
