The Skitube is a mountain rack-railway that was designed by the Swiss and is located in Perisher, Australia. The railway system transports skiers from Bullocks Flat, situated below the natural snow-line outside the Kosciuszko National Park, to Perisher Valley. Additionally, from Perisher Valley, a second train is available to take passengers to Blue Cow. The Skitube has been in operation since 1987, and it is the most popular mode of transportation for people looking to reach the Perisher Ski Resort. The railway can transport 4,500 passengers per hour up the mountain.
