Mammoth Mountain Avalanche Injures Ski Patroller Amid Heavy Sierra Snowfall
Two separate avalanche incidents at major California ski resorts marked a challenging day in the Sierra Nevada. At Mammoth Mountain, a ski patroller was seriously injured during avalanche control work, while Palisades Tahoe experienced two slides with no injuries reported.
