Apex Mountain Snow

Apex Mountain gets hammered every season with around 600cm of legendary Okanagan champagne powder. Apex Mountain Resort is the only mountain in the Okanagan that faces northeast, those beautiful powder snow crystals are less affected by the sun and the famous light, dry powder snow can survive for days after a snowfall.

To get things running in the early season the resort has a great snowmaking system and the snow grooming team do a killer job of spreading the white stuff around.

Being a British Columbia resort means that the pacific storms back up most of the season and continue to drop that amazing Canadian powder, by Christmas most years the resort has opened every single run.
