SkiWelt operates from early December through to the end of March, with optimal skiing conditions typically from mid-January through February when natural snowfall and artificial snow combine to create excellent piste conditions. The resort benefits from excellent natural snowfall in the Austrian Alps and maintains extremely efficient snowmaking capabilities across all ski connections, with over 1,800 snow-making machines ensuring reliable snow conditions throughout the winter sports season. The entire ski area can be made ski-ready within just three days thanks to 16 water reservoirs and comprehensive artificial snow coverage spanning the full 275 kilometres of ski slopes. The elevation range from 620m to 1,869m provides snow-sure skiing on higher alpine slopes while valley runs remain open most of the season for skiing back to the villages. Austria's largest night skiing area operates in Söll, with 10 kilometres of illuminated slopes extending the skiing day well into the evening, while early bird skiing is available on selected mornings from 7:30am for powder skiing before the crowds arrive.
