How does SnowStash rank resorts by snow forecast?
Every resort is ordered by its total forecast snowfall for the period you pick - the next 24 hours, 5, 10 or 14 days - or by snow that has already fallen in the last 24 hours. Switch the period to re-rank the whole board instantly.
How far ahead can I trust a snow forecast?
The next 24 hours to 5 days are the most reliable. The 10 and 14-day outlooks are useful for spotting a pattern or a storm building, but treat them as a direction of travel rather than an exact number - always re-check closer to your trip.
Can I see the forecast in inches instead of centimetres?
Yes. Use the units toggle to switch the whole board between centimetres/°C and inches/°F. US resorts default to imperial and everywhere else to metric, and your choice is remembered.
