Feldberg is the largest ski area in the Black Forest, with 24 runs and 29 kilometres of piste on the slopes of the region's highest peak. The vertical is 500 metres between 950 and 1,450 metres. The split is 43% beginner, 34% intermediate and 23% advanced, with no expert grade. Two double chairs, a quad, two six-seaters, three surface lifts and nine T-bars link the sectors around Seebuck, Grafenmatt and Fahl. It is a genuine multi-sector area, though the pistes are generally short and best skied in quick laps.

Wiesenquelle is the pick for easy cruising, a blue forest run of about three kilometres with 400 metres of drop. Stronger skiers get steeper pitches and a World Cup downhill piste, and there is a large snow park for freestyle riders. On clear days the top gives views across the Black Forest and sometimes to the Alps. Feldberg suits families, intermediates and weekend visitors from Freiburg, Basel and Stuttgart, though lift queues can form when conditions are good. Advanced skiers will enjoy it for a day, while experts will want to head into the Alps.

The ski season at Feldberg typically runs from December through March, with the higher elevation often allowing skiing into April. January and February deliver the most reliable conditions, with consistent snowfall refreshing the slopes. The resort receives an average annual snowfall of 3-5m, complemented by substantial snowmaking coverage on key runs. The Black Forest microclimate creates unique snow conditions, often delivering powder days when other German resorts receive rain.
