The network combines high-capacity gondolas, including the state-of-the-art Kölner connection, with detachable chairlifts featuring weather protection bubbles and heated seats. The impressive König Laurin 10-passenger gondola ascends 560 metres in just 6.5 minutes, delivering skiers directly to the Fronza alle Coronelle Hut at 2,337 metres beneath the legendary Rosengarten cliffs.
Recent infrastructure investments have introduced RFID ticketing technology and expanded uphill capacity by 30%, effectively eliminating queues even during peak periods. The Carezza winter season typically runs from early December through early April, with optimal conditions from January through March. The area benefits from its strategic position within the Dolomites, receiving consistent snowfall from both Mediterranean and Alpine weather systems. Early season operations begin on higher elevation sectors before expanding across the entire network by Christmas week.
February offers peak snow conditions, complemented by increasing sunshine hours that showcase the extraordinary Dolomite scenery.
