Thredbo Launches 2023 Lift Pass & Season Pass Pricing

As the temperatures begin to drop and the leaves start to fall, ski enthusiasts eagerly await the opening of their favourite resorts. For many, the beginning of the ski season is signaled by the release of season pass and lift pass prices. Thredbo Resort, located in New South Wales, Australia, is no exception.

Thredbo has announced their lift pass and lesson offerings for the 2023 season, which runs from June 10 to October 2. The resort is always a popular destination among ski enthusiasts, and their season passes are highly sought after. To ensure that lift lines remain manageable across the mountain, the number of season passes available is limited.

For those who want to hit the slopes all season long, Thredbo offers a full season pass for adults priced at $1749 and for children over five priced at $1079. These passes come with various added extras, including six bring-a-friend discount vouchers for 5-50% off. Additionally, Thredbo has introduced a new package this year: for $1999, you can get the full season pass plus an Ikon Base Pass. The Ikon Base Pass provides access to up to five days at each of 33 global resorts (blackout dates apply), including Big Sky, Revelstoke, and Snowbird, and full access at 14 others.

If you're on a budget, Thredbo offers a "value" season pass for $1575, which includes school holiday blackouts, and a "mid-week" season pass for $1399, which includes both school holiday and weekend blackouts. In addition to season passes, Thredbo also offers day passes, with limited online date bookings to manage lift lines and visitor numbers. A one-day pass in peak season is priced at $199. However, if you purchase up to 14 days in advance, you'll receive up to a 35% discount. You can also save more if you purchase multi-day passes online, but you'll need to know the dates you want to ski/board ahead of time.

But skiing and snowboarding aren't the only things to do at Thredbo. The resort also offers a variety of mountain adventures, including Sunrise Sessions, Merritts Mountain Haus Feasts, Kareela Supper Club, and Kareela Hutte Dinners. This year, Thredbo has increased the number of bookings available for these events. Bookings will be open online in April, so if you're interested, make sure to act fast because these events sell out quickly.

In conclusion, if you're planning on hitting the slopes this winter, Thredbo resort has plenty to offer. From season passes to day passes and mountain adventures, there's something for everyone. So get ready to bundle up and hit the mountain for an unforgettable winter experience!
