
Epic Upgrades at Northeast Ski Resorts: What's New for the 2024/25 Season

Epic Pass holders, get ready for an unforgettable season at Vail Resorts' Northeast ski resorts. This winter brings capital investments, cutting-edge technology, and a packed calendar of events across eight beloved locations.Hunter Mountain in the Catskills is marking its 65th anniversary with major improvements. The resort is introducing two Epic Lift Upgrades, the Broadway Lift and E Lift, along with over 70 new automated snow guns. These enhancements will increase uphill capacity and allow for faster snowmaking, building on Hunter's history of innovation. Notably, Hunter was the first U.S. ski resort to install an automated snowmaking system, a tradition of pioneering technology that continues to this day.

Stowe Mountain Resort, known as the "Ski Capital of the East," is rolling out Pass Holder appreciation events, Skal Summit Toasts, and comprehensive Ski and Ride School programs. Mount Snow, home to the East's most powerful snowmaking system, is celebrating its 70th season with a bang. The resort will host two Oktoberfest weekends in October and feature signature events like the Carinthia Classic and Reggaefest. Okemo Mountain Resort rounds out the Vermont offerings with extensive terrain for all skill levels and diverse après-ski options, promising memorable experiences for weekend getaways and annual family vacations alike.
