    Eaglecrest Lift System

    Eaglecrest features four lifts serving 36 marked runs, providing access to both gentle learning areas and challenging expert terrain. The Ptarmigan chairlift reaches the summit at 2,600 feet, opening up spectacular views of the Gastineau Channel and surrounding Tongass National Forest.

    Located just 12 miles from downtown Juneau, Eaglecrest combines the convenience of a local mountain with the feeling of a remote backcountry experience. The resort's position on Douglas Island provides stunning views of the Inside Passage and the Coast Mountains, making each run a memorable visual experience.

    Operating from December through April, Eaglecrest typically receives over 300 inches of annual snowfall. The maritime climate creates unique snow conditions, while the northern latitude extends daylight hours during late winter and spring skiing. Winter storms bring fresh powder opportunities, while spring often delivers sunny days perfect for exploring the entire mountain.
