Location & Getting There
Just four miles from downtown Aspen, Highlands offers a quick escape into Colorado's rugged mountains. The free shuttle service connects you to all four Aspen Snowmass mountains, while the base area provides essential services without the crowds. Operating at a higher elevation than many Colorado resorts, Highlands benefits from consistent snow conditions throughout the season. The mountain's position in the Elk Range creates a unique microclimate that often brings powder days when other areas remain clear.
