    Powderhorn Lift System

    Our recently upgraded lift network ensures more time on the slopes and less time in line. The high-speed Flat Top Flyer quad chair anchors our system, whisking you to the summit in just 6 minutes. Complemented by three additional lifts strategically positioned across the mountain, our infrastructure provides smooth access to every corner of our terrain, including our renowned tree skiing areas and groomed cruisers.

    Located just 45 minutes from Grand Junction Regional Airport, Powderhorn offers an ideal balance of accessibility and escape. The resort sits at the edge of the Grand Mesa National Forest, surrounded by stunning views of the Colorado National Monument and Book Cliffs. This convenient location puts you within easy reach of local wineries, hiking trails, and the charming town of Mesa, while maintaining the peaceful mountain atmosphere that makes Powderhorn special.

    Season Info

    Powderhorn's unique position on the world's largest flat-top mountain creates exceptional snow conditions throughout our season, typically running from mid-December through late March. Our annual snowfall of 250+ inches combines with state-of-the-art snowmaking to ensure reliable coverage across our varied terrain. Spring skiing here offers particularly memorable experiences, with warm sunshine and perfectly groomed runs.
