    Saddleback Lift System

    Saddleback's recently upgraded lift network ensures more time on the slopes and less time in lines. The high-speed Rangeley Quad whisks skiers to the summit in just 7 minutes, while the Sandy Double and South Branch Quad provide access to varied terrain pods. Our modern lift infrastructure serves 68 trails and glades across 600 acres of skiable terrain.

    Just 4 hours from Boston, Saddleback rises above Maine's Rangeley Lakes region, offering stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. The resort's location in Franklin County provides easy access from Portland and other New England population centers, while maintaining an uncrowded, peaceful mountain experience. The nearby town of Rangeley offers lodging, dining, and additional winter activities.

    Season Info

    Winter transforms Saddleback into a snow-covered playground, typically operating from early December through mid-April. The mountain's unique position captures abundant natural snowfall, averaging 225 inches annually. When nature needs assistance, our advanced snowmaking system covers 85% of the terrain, ensuring consistent conditions throughout the season.
