Woodward Park City is a freestyle-focused ski and snowboard area in Summit County, Utah, with 125 acres (51 hectares) and 10 runs. The vertical is small at 340 ft (104 m), from a 6,500 ft (1,981 m) base to a 6,840 ft (2,085 m) top. The split is 25% beginner, 35% intermediate, 35% advanced and 5% expert, but the challenge comes from features rather than steepness. This is a progression hill, not a place for long cruising runs, and it pairs the slopes with a large indoor training facility for year-round practice.

The Hot Laps chairlift and three surface lifts feed the terrain. Main Line is the signature top-to-bottom slopestyle course, with progressive jump lines scaled by skill level, and Red's Backyard, designed with Olympic gold medallist Red Gerard, offers features for a range of abilities. Start Park, served by a magic carpet, is the zone for beginners, and a 22-foot halfpipe adds to the mix alongside rails and jumps. Woodward Park City opened in December 2019. It suits park skiers and snowboarders, young riders learning tricks and families wanting a short, focused session rather than big mountain skiing, and anyone after vertical should look elsewhere.

The 2025-26 winter season opened 22 November 2025 and runs through 4 April 2026, providing a 133-day operating window. Woodward typically opens earlier than traditional ski resorts due to aggressive snowmaking across the compact terrain. The resort operates 365 days annually with summer mountain biking replacing winter skiing. Night skiing extends operating hours until 7 p.m. on most winter days with illuminated terrain parks and groomed runs.

Snowfall averages 3.81 metres annually at the resort's 1,981 to 2,085-metre elevation band near Parley's Summit. The 2025-26 season recorded 155 centimetres total through mid-May with a 94-centimetre base depth. Snowmaking coverage blankets the entire ski area, ensuring reliable conditions despite the relatively modest natural accumulation compared to higher Wasatch resorts. The east-facing aspect receives morning sun, softening snow early whilst maintaining coverage through spring.

December through February delivers peak powder conditions with coldest temperatures and most consistent natural snowfall. January averages the deepest base depths. March and April offer spring skiing with longer daylight hours and softer snow, though the season typically closes by early April. Weekdays see lighter crowds than weekends. The resort attracts local Park City and Salt Lake City residents for after-work sessions under lights.

Party in the Peace Park on 6 February showcases freestyle progression at Danny Davis's signature terrain park with cash prizes for creative tricks. The Uninvited Invitational women's snowboarding event runs 9-12 April with a $60,000 prize purse and competitors from 16 countries. Weekend camps and three-day clinics operate throughout winter. Summer operations transition in May with lift-served mountain biking continuing through October. The indoor hub never closes, offering year-round trampoline and skatepark access.
