    Snowy Range Lift System

    Snowy Range's five lifts provide efficient access to 33 distinct runs across the mountain. The system includes a beginner-friendly magic carpet, two double chairs, and two triple chairs, strategically placed to serve all skill levels. From the top of the Sundance Triple, skiers and riders can access the entire mountain's terrain while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding national forest.

    Snowy Range Ski Area is perfectly positioned 30 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming, in the heart of the Medicine Bow Mountains. The surrounding national forest provides year-round recreational opportunities, from backcountry skiing to summer hiking, making Snowy Range a true four-season destination in southeastern Wyoming.

    The high elevation of Snowy Range creates distinct mountain experiences throughout the year. Winter brings consistent snowfall, typically allowing for a long ski season from late November through early April. Summer opens up the mountain to hiking enthusiasts, with alpine wildflowers dotting the slopes. Fall showcases the changing colors of aspens against the dramatic rocky backdrop, while spring offers some of the best late-season skiing conditions in southern Wyoming.
