Mt Norquay Lift system

Mt Norquay is the smallest of the resorts in the region, so it doesn’t need a massive lift system. With 3 quads and a double chair, riders can get to a range of runs however the position of lifts and runs means that to get out to the far-right side of the resort you will need to lift up and ride down 3 times before getting access to the Mystic Express Chair (the newest addition to the resort and the only high-speed quad).

The North American double chair takes riders to the highest elevation of the resort; however, this is for advanced riders only as the only way down is black runs. Beginners should not accidentally load themselves onto this chair unless heading to the Cliff House Bistro.

Mt Norquay Snow

Mt Norquay gets a great amount of a snow for a local mountain. On average the resort gets around 3.5m and the mountain grooming team do an excellent job to ensure this is spread wide and far. To get the season going they have an excellent snowmaking system which covers 85% of the resort so there is always something to slide on even when mother nature is not feeling giving.

With the 20/21 season mother nature came a knocking early and Mt Norquay was the first major resort to open in North America. Opening on the 24th of October 2020 this marked the earliest opening the resort has ever had in their 95 year history.
