Lake Louise Lift System

Lake Louise in Alberta has a lift system that is quick! It will get you where you need to go and with the views that are on offer at this resort you won’t even have time to spot your next line.

To get up into the alpine you will either jump on the 6-person Gondola (great on the cold days) or onto the Glacier Express which is a high-speed quad and offers incredible views whilst you cruise nearly 2kms up the resort.

Once up in the alpine area you can meander your way down the green runs back to the village and soak in the vista’s or for the confident riders you can jump off the backside and tackle the famous Lake Louise back side bowls. Black and Double Black Diamond runs galore and where you want to be after a 40cm dump of fresh Canadian champagne powder.  New for the 20/21 season is the summit chair which opens up a new 480 acres of advanced rideable terrain in the newly opened West Bowl. This is the first time in 25 years that new terrain has been opened in Banff National Park so definitely a welcome addition to the resort.

Lake Louise Snow

Lake Louise in Alberta gets a decent amount of natural snowfall but not as much as the other western Canadian resorts. With a decent 3.5m and over 100 snow guns to keep it flowing all season the snow grooming team at Lake Louise do a stellar job of keeping things fresh.

Situated high in the Banff National Park its assured that each year the riding at Lake Louise ski resorts will be all time with excellent fast groomers on the front side of the Mountain and on Larch Mountain, plus for the more advanced rider it will be steep and deep in the backside bowls. With a long season that normally goes from early November through to mid-May.
