The Warm Springs base will be revamped with two new lifts, replacing the Challenger and Greyhawk lifts with a new six-person Challenger lift that includes a mid-station. In addition, a new quad lift, the Flying Squirrel, will take skiers and snowboarders to the top of the Flying Squirrel terrain area, which will be expanded to include an additional 54 acres of glade skiing. Sun Valley expects the improvements to be completed by December 2023.

This included a record-breaking storm on March 30th, which dropped a staggering 24 inches of snow. With a total of 119 inches of snow in March alone - more than January and February combined - Bogus Basin plans to continue winter operations through May 6th, the latest date in its 80-year history. During the extended season, visitors can enjoy a range of activities and events, including a "aMAYzing 100" party on May 6th. Spring season passes remain available for purchase, and visitors can stay updated on the extended season hours, events, and activities by visiting the Bogus Basin website.
