Ongoing efforts involved clearing more trees across various areas of the resort during the summer. The 2023 trail map reflects these transformations, showing substantial changes. Despite the loss of tree terrain, there's a positive note—the opening of previously restricted sections in the Avalanche Bowl and Huckleberry Canyon, allowing access to all 2000 skiable acres for the first time in years. Sierra-at-Tahoe stands resilient, though altered, in the face of adversity.
