As Austria's only year-round skiing destination, Hintertux defies traditional seasons. The glacier maintains excellent snow conditions throughout the year, with the most extensive terrain available from October through May. Summer skiing continues on up to 20 kilometers of slopes, primarily above 2,500 meters. Natural snowfall averages 450cm annually, while advanced snowmaking systems supplement conditions on the lower slopes during the main winter season.
