Season Info

Auron ski resort typically operates from early December through mid-April, benefiting from exceptional snow reliability due to its elevated position and predominantly north-facing aspect that preserves powder conditions well into spring. The resort receives substantial natural snowfall averaging 100-200 centimetres annually, with March delivering peak conditions including an average of 34 centimetres during the snowiest weeks. The unique northerly orientation ensures excellent snow retention compared to other Southern Alps destinations, while the resort's sunny location provides over 73 sunny days per season, making it one of France's ten sunniest ski destinations with ideal bluebird skiing conditions.
