The ski season in Morzine typically runs from mid-December through mid-April, with the best snow conditions usually found between January and March. While situated at a relatively low altitude of 1,000 meters, the resort's north-facing slopes and sophisticated snowmaking system maintain reliable conditions throughout the season. The area's microclimate, influenced by proximity to Lake Geneva, often brings substantial snowfall, particularly to the higher slopes of Avoriaz.
