Season Info

From December through early April, Savognin offers reliable winter sports with particularly consistent conditions from January through March. The area benefits from its sheltered position in the Surses Valley, where snowfall patterns frequently deliver substantial coverage while avoiding the extreme wind exposure affecting higher peaks. Modern snowmaking complements natural precipitation on key sectors, ensuring consistent conditions throughout the season. The predominantly east-facing slopes catch morning sunshine while preserving good snow quality into afternoon hours, creating an ideal balance for family skiing when younger participants need favorable visibility and comfortable temperatures.
