Tukino Lift System
Two nutcracker rope tows serve Tukino's terrain, maintaining the traditional club field character while providing access to excellent skiing and riding opportunities. The main tow rises 400 vertical meters, opening up expansive volcanic terrain and numerous natural features. This classic lift system, though requiring initial familiarization, rewards visitors with quick access to uncrowded slopes and pristine snow conditions.

Accessed via the Desert Road (State Highway 1), Tukino sits within the Tongariro National Park, offering a unique perspective of Mt Ruapehu's eastern face.
