Tukino Lift System

Two nutcracker rope tows serve Tukino's terrain, maintaining the traditional club field character while providing access to excellent skiing and riding opportunities. The main tow rises 400 vertical meters, opening up expansive volcanic terrain and numerous natural features. Location & Getting There

Accessed via the Desert Road (State Highway 1), Tukino sits within the Tongariro National Park, offering a unique perspective of Mt Ruapehu's eastern face. The 4WD access road leads to the day lodge at 1,700 meters, where expansive views stretch across the Central Plateau to Lake Taupo.
