Mt Rose Ski Tahoe Opens New Lakeview Lift

Michael Fulton (SnowStash)
Its been a busy year for the team at Mt Rose Ski Tahoe as they got to work building their brand new lift. As soon as the ski season was coming to a close on March 20 the old chairs on the triple lift were removed and the lengthy process towards the new lift was officially underway. The new lift is not just replacing the old triple but will be extended further up into the resort and rises 1,056 vertical feet, giving better access to new and existing runs. Not only is the lift longer but this increase in length and vertical will offer expansive Lake Tahoe views from the top of this new high-speed lift with access to beginner terrain without having to ride Northwest Chair to the summit.

We open our Lakeview Express, it was the grand opening of that chair which now give us two high speed lifts and so far we are having a great start to the season.” — Mike Pierce Marketing Director Mount Rose Ski Tahoe. The upgraded lift express will make Mt Rose a serious option when considering a great resort for beginner and intermediate riders as the progression options are endless + the resort itself is not as busy as some of the neighbouring resorts in the Lake Tahoe region.
