New Mexico Ski Resort Projected Opening Dates 2022

TL;DR

Starting this week the New Mexico ski season will be underway thanks to Sipapu getting it going early, then from next week most of the other major ski resorts will start spinning their lifts. We have compiled a list of the planned opening dates for the ski resorts across New Mexico.

We have seen a large number of resorts across Colorado, Utah and California start welcoming back guest for the 22/23 season however deep down in the state of New Mexico a few storms have been brewing with some exceptionally low temps which are perfect for the snow makers to do their thing. Starting things off is the smaller resort of Sipapu who will get things going on the 18th of November, then once next week rolls around most of the other major resorts in New Mexico will get things going and skiers and snowboards alike will be flocking to the mountains.

Sierra Nevada Halloween Storm: Dodge Ridge Forecast to Lead With 19 Inches

Halloween weekend brings a wet, windy storm to the Sierra Nevada. Our five-day forecast has Dodge Ridge on top with 19 in, followed by Bear Valley at 15 in and Mammoth Mountain at 12 in, with most of it landing on Saturday. A winter weather advisory covers the Tahoe Basin and Mono County until 7 AM Sunday, gusts could reach 47 mph and the freezing level swings between 4,900 and 8,700 ft, so some bases will see rain. A dry spell follows from Monday.
