    Yesterday, on March 24, 2023, Bear Valley Mountain Resort in California broke its 40-year-old snowfall record from the 1982-1983 winter season. The previous record of 639 inches was surpassed this week with a total of 648 inches of snow, after an additional 2 inches fell overnight. This is a historic all-time high for the resort.Fortunately, despite the unprecedented snowfall, Bear Valley Mountain Resort is scheduled to open tomorrow. Unlike some Utah resorts that may not be able to open due to the record-breaking snowfalls, visitors can still enjoy the remarkable snow conditions at Bear Valley.The resort shared the plan for Saturday, March 25, 2023 on their website:BLUEBIRD DAY AHEAD!!!Weather: Mostly sunny, high of 33Shuttle Service: One bus will operate, head to Bearvalley.com for the schedule.Terrain Planned to be Open tomorrow: Mokelumne Express, Polar Express, Super Cub, Cub, & both carpets.
