TL;DR
Vail Resorts is set to add paid parking to another three of their resorts to try and combat congestion. This time its Lake Tahoe in the spotlight with paid parking coming into play for the 23/24 winter season.
To address traffic and parking congestion during peak times at its Tahoe-area resorts, Vail Resorts will introduce a combination of paid parking and reservation systems. The upcoming ski season will see Northstar, Heavenly, and Kirkwood resorts implement a mix of free and paid parking options during weekends, holidays, and peak periods. Additionally, the resorts will encourage carpooling and emphasize reservations to minimize parking challenges.
