Sugarloaf's official real estate agency, Mountainside Real Estate, has made an exciting announcement regarding the largest real estate development at a ski resort in the East since the 1970s. The development, named "Dutchman Woods," is located in the West Mountain expansion and features 20 single-family residential lots with ski-in/ski-out access, offering a rare level of privacy to on-mountain residents. The development is part of the West Mountain expansion, which is the largest terrain expansion at the resort since the 1970s. The expansion is expected to add 83 acres of snowmaking terrain in just one year, which is a significant increase in acreage compared to other ski resorts in the East. The closest scale of acreage increase was the construction of Whitetail Mountain Resort in 1991, which involved the construction of an entirely new resort. Dutchman Woods is the first neighborhood in the area's multi-phase residential development plan, and it features 20 single-family residential lots with ski-in/ski-out access.

The high elevation of the development ensures breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains, and the designers have taken great care to embrace the natural flow of the dramatic topography. As a result, each lot is unique, providing a truly one-of-a-kind experience for residents. The development is expected to be one of the most dramatic residential destinations in the East and a quintessentially Sugarloaf experience. The high levels of privacy available to on-mountain residents are rare and highly sought-after, making this development a generational opportunity for families looking to create memories for a lifetime. Dutchman Woods is a significant development at Sugarloaf ski resort, offering a unique opportunity for residents to experience unparalleled natural beauty and privacy. With the expansion of the West Mountain area, the resort is positioning itself as a premier destination for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.
