Cooma Coaches, a public transport bus service, has launched new routes and timetables for the 2023 season to alleviate the traffic issues experienced by skiers and snowboarders heading to Perisher and Thredbo. The service will run from June 10 to October 1 and offers a round trip service from Jindabyne to Bullocks Flat Skitube and Thredbo, as well as Jindabyne to Perisher. Services will run hourly every day, with increased frequency of every thirty minutes from Friday to Sunday for the Perisher route.The fares for the service range from $6 to $57, depending on whether it's for an adult or child, one way or return, and are inclusive of the Kosciuszko National Park fee. Customers can purchase a season ticket for $400 for an adult and $200 for a child. However, it is not possible to reserve a seat, meaning travel is subject to availability. The same goes for the seven-day weekly ticket, which costs $135 for an adult, $69 for a child, and $350 for a family. The baggage limit is capped at 1 x 20kg bag per person, and there will be capacity for ski equipment.
