    Winter Park Resort in Colorado has recently dropped some bittersweet news that we all knew was coming eventually. The resort's upcoming closure on Monday, May 29th, 2023, also known as Memorial Day, marks the end of yet another exhilarating skiing and snowboarding season. The official announcement was made through their social media channels, and anticipation is high for an unforgettable send-off.With a touch of nostalgia and excitement, Winter Park Resort bids adieu to the current season, inviting all enthusiasts to seize the opportunity to carve their final runs before saying goodbye to winter. Alongside the call for the last hurrah, the resort encourages visitors to celebrate the remarkable winter that unfolded and, in particular, honour the departure of Mary Jane, one of their renowned slopes. The festivities will extend throughout the entire three-day weekend, ensuring an unforgettable farewell. The season commenced with a historic early opening on October 31st, 2022, allowing eager skiers and snowboarders to hit the slopes sooner than ever before. As the season draws to a close on May 29th, it will have spanned an impressive 210 days, providing countless hours of exhilarating winter sports adventures.Heartfelt congratulations go out to the Winter Park team for their remarkable efforts in bringing the season to life. Their dedication and hard work have made it possible for countless individuals to experience the joys of skiing and snowboarding this year. As the curtain falls, it is hoped that everyone involved will have the opportunity to embark on one final journey through the majestic mountains, immersing themselves in the warmth of the spring sunshine.As the season draws to a close, Winter Park Resort can reflect on an outstanding accomplishment. With a total snowfall of 397 inches, they have received a staggering 115% of their annual average. Mother Nature has undoubtedly been generous, gifting Winter Park Resort with abundant snowfall and ideal conditions for winter sports enthusiasts to revel in.
