Copper Mountain Resort is gearing up for an exciting change as they prepare to introduce a brand-new chairlift, marking the first such addition since 2019. Despite the relatively short time span, the anticipation is building. Copper Mountain Resort recently unveiled their plans in a press release, revealing their intention to replace the Timberline Express in the upcoming summer of 2024. The renowned high-speed quad chairlift will give way to a cutting-edge high-speed six-pack chairlift, sourced from none other than Leitner-Poma.This innovative chairlift is poised to bring about notable enhancements. By providing increased capacity and improved access to the Western Territory – renowned for housing some of Copper's impeccably groomed terrains – the six-pack chairlift is expected to revitalize the resort's skiing experience. The specifications are impressive: boasting a vertical ascent of 1,129 feet, spanning a distance of 4,825 feet, and facilitating an uphill throughput of approximately 3,000 riders per hour, this chairlift is poised to redefine convenience and efficiency. Adventurers and skiers alike can eagerly anticipate its grand unveiling, scheduled for the 2024-25 season.
