Winter Park Resort's $100 Million Upgrades For 2023/2024 Season And Names New Lift

Winter Park Resort in Colorado is committed to enhancing both the employee and guest experience for the upcoming 2023/24 winter season. They are finalising a new 330+bed workforce housing complex known as Conifer Commons, which is set to alleviate critical housing needs for the resort and the community. This project, along with the installation of a new six-person lift called the Wild Spur Express in Vasquez Ridge, represents an impressive $75 million investment in improving the overall experience.Furthermore, Winter Park Resort is investing nearly $30 million in on-mountain and base-area upgrades, such as snowmaking, innovative food and beverage options, and revamped retail and rental services. In total, they have dedicated over $100 million to capital improvements in preparation for the upcoming winter season.Conifer Commons, the employee housing complex, broke ground in 2022 and is expected to be ready for residents in mid-fall. This project is one of the largest workforce housing initiatives completed in Colorado this year, conveniently located near the resort and offering easy access to work and amenities.
