SilverStar Mountain Resort is looking forward to an action-packed winter season, with several new offerings to enhance the visitor experience. Located in the heart of Canada's beautiful landscape, SilverStar has gained a reputation for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel like they belong. According to Cassandra Zerebeski, the executive director of Destination Silver Star, it's the sense of belonging that sets SilverStar apart and keeps visitors coming back for more.Gondola Capacity Boost:One of the key upgrades for this winter season is an increase in gondola capacity. In 2017, SilverStar introduced the Des Schumann Summit Express high-speed gondola with 21 cabins. This year, an additional 21 cabins will be added, effectively doubling the uphill capacity to 2,400 riders per hour. This expansion aims to provide a more efficient and enjoyable experience for mountain enthusiasts.

The Spice House will join the existing dining options at SilverStar, adding a global flavour to the resort's culinary scene. Visitors can look forward to a diverse range of dining experiences, perfect for fuelling up after a day on the slopes.Enhanced Snow Grooming:To ensure top-notch skiing and snowboarding experiences, SilverStar is investing in its snow grooming fleet. The addition of two new snow groomers will not only support terrain park maintenance but also enhance natural terrain features, resulting in "flawless" runs that winter sports enthusiasts will appreciate.RFID Gates for Convenience:SilverStar is making access to the mountain even more convenient with the introduction of radio frequency identification (RFID) gates. These gates will scan passes and tickets, eliminating the need for visitors to take out their tickets for inspection when accessing the lifts. This enhancement streamlines the entry process, saving time for guests.MY1PASS - All-Inclusive Access:The resort offers the MY1PASS, an all-inclusive ticket that provides access to seven winter activities, including downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, night skiing, tubing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and fat biking. This comprehensive access is available with both day tickets and season passes, offering excellent value for those seeking unlimited winter adventures.
