The Windham Mountain Club, formerly known as Windham Mountain, has recently announced its new name and a groundbreaking vision for the upcoming 2023/2024 ski season and beyond. This transformation comes as part of an ambitious master plan update, with over $70 million dollars earmarked for enhancements in the coming years, promising an extraordinary experience for both guests and members.Elevating the Ski ExperienceThe heart of the Windham Mountain Club's vision is to provide the best skiing and riding experience in the Northeast. To achieve this, the mountain will see significant improvements, including enhanced snowmaking and upgraded lifts for the 2023/2024 season. These enhancements aim to ensure uncrowded slopes, minimal lift lines, and pure skiing enjoyment for all. Windham Mountain Club will introduce several new restaurants that promise to tantalise the taste buds:Foodhall: An elevated food court with fresh fare offerings and a full bar.Seasons: A Mediterranean kitchen concept located in the base lodge.Cin! Cin!: An Italian Alps-style restaurant with an approachable wine program located at mid-mountain.The Windham: A reimagined private members’ club dining experience.A Haven for MembersWindham Mountain Club's commitment to creating remarkable experiences extends to its members. They are set to enjoy an array of upgrades, including enhancements to the golf course designed by award-winning architect Tom Fazio and renovations to the clubhouse. These changes are scheduled to begin in fall 2024. Additionally, new amenities for members and lodging guests will include a luxury spa, gym, adventure hub, Hudson River outpost, on-site pools, racquet sports facilities, and an amphitheater for summer concert series.Community EngagementThe Windham Mountain Club is deeply connected to the local community and plans to continue its support. Existing homeowners in the Windham community can apply for community memberships starting in November 2023. Furthermore, the club will introduce hundreds of local jobs and infuse millions of dollars into the local economy as it evolves into a four-season resort destination. A Commitment to Giving BackThe club's dedication to social responsibility remains strong. It will continue its partnership with the Adaptive Sports Foundation and increase its contributions to the Windham Foundation, a grants-based organisation supporting education, recreation, the arts, and community initiatives. The club also plans to support recreational activities and organisations, including the Windham Ashland Jewett Central School District’s “Ski Tuesdays” and free ski passes, as well as the SHRED Foundation.
