With an asking price of $4.75 million, the apartment offers stunning views and luxurious features that are sure to impress.Melissa and Mark Peters became well-known for their modular accommodation brand, Tribe Hotels, which they later sold to French hotel chain Accor in 2019. In addition to their hotel ventures, the Peters have also developed an exclusive ski chalet at 1 Arlberg St, Falls Creek, consisting of eight residences, most of which were sold off the plan. The apartment is listed by Zirky Real Estate's Christina Smit and features an expansive 212 sq m living space, a 21 sq m balcony, and private ski equipment storage. The Peters teamed up with Kerry Phelan Design Office to oversee the transformation of the lodge. The property has gone from being a beloved 70s-era ski lodge to a modern and luxurious alpine residence, while still preserving some of its original charm. High ceilings, a stone wall, and other 70s design elements have been kept, blending old-world charm with contemporary style. The apartment boasts high-end features like a spa, a double-sided Austrian fireplace, and a work-from-home area equipped with two desks. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, with multiple living areas, a drying room, and a hidden butler’s pantry behind the elegant main kitchen. View fullsize

The property has been completely reimagined as the most luxurious building on the mountain, yet it still holds onto that classic alpine vibe.” — Christina Smit - Zirky Real Estate Melissa Peters added, “As locals with hotel and property development experience, we saw the potential in Koki Lodge and are proud to have turned it into Falls Creek’s newest luxury residential address. It has set a new standard for the region, attracting a new generation of families to Falls Creek.”The apartment, which is being sold under a lease through to 2059, has already attracted interest from potential buyers, especially from Melbourne and Sydney. Many have commented on the spaciousness of the property, noting that it’s clearly been designed with skiers in mind. The lease also offers a first right of refusal, adding further appeal to the exclusive offering.
