POWDR's Major Shakeup Continues: Three More Ski Resorts Hit the Market In a surprising turn of events, POWDR Corporation has announced its intention to sell three more of its ski resorts, following the recent sale of Killington and Pico Mountain in Vermont. Mt Bachelor in Oregon, Eldora in Colorado, and SilverStar in British Columbia are now on the market, as reported exclusively by Stuart Winchester at The Storm Skiing Journal and Podcast.POWDR officials have stated that "other multi-mountain ski companies were welcome to bid on the three resorts," indicating an openness to various potential buyers. The company expects these sales to be completed "over the coming weeks," signalling a rapid transition period for these popular ski destinations.This move is part of a larger restructuring effort by POWDR, which currently owns and operates 10 ski areas across North America. The company plans to retain ownership of its remaining six operations, including Snowbird in Utah, Copper Mountain in Colorado and Woodward Park City in Utah. POWDR representatives explained that these sales are "driven by a desire to both focus and diversify the business."
