Deer Valley Introduces Three New Lifts and Expanded Terrain for 2024-25 Season Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, is gearing up for an exciting 2024-25 ski season with the launch of its Expanded Excellence project. This winter, skiers will have access to 300 new acres of terrain and 24 additional trails, served by three brand-new lifts. The centrepiece of this expansion is the Keetley Express, a high-speed six-person chairlift featuring bubble covers for added comfort. This flagship lift will transport skiers from the new base area near the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley to Keetley Point, providing a direct connection to the existing Sultan Express lift and Bald Mountain's advanced runs. Complementing the Keetley Express are two more lifts: the Hoodoo Express and Aurora. The Hoodoo Express, a detachable quad, will cater to beginners with its dedicated learning area. Aurora, a fixed-grip quad equipped with a loading conveyor, will serve as a vital connector, allowing skiers to return to the new East Village base area.To accommodate the influx of visitors, Deer Valley is constructing a temporary gateway complete with 500 parking spaces, a rental shop, and ticketing services. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, situated at the heart of the new base village, is scheduled to open its doors in November. This season's additions are just the beginning of Deer Valley's ambitious plans. The 2025-26 season will see the introduction of six more lifts, including a two-stage, 10-passenger gondola and five detachable chairlifts. When fully realised, the expansion will add a total of 3,700 acres of skiable terrain and 135 new runs to Deer Valley's offerings.
