Valle Nevado and La Parva, two major ski resorts in the Chilean Andes, have announced substantial improvements for the 2025 ski season. With over $4 million invested, both resorts are focusing on enhancing their infrastructure and guest amenities. These upgrades aim to improve the overall skiing experience and cater to the changing needs of skiers and riders.

The improvements include modernising lifts, expanding snowmaking capabilities, and adding new dining options. These changes reflect the resorts' commitment to staying competitive and meeting the expectations of today's ski resort visitors.

At Valle Nevado, the focus is on upgrading key chairlifts such as the Andes Express, Mirador, and Gondola. These improvements will increase reliability and operational efficiency throughout the season. The resort is also expanding its learning area in the Hotel School zone, making it more accommodating for beginners and ski school participants.

La Parva is also upgrading its lift system, with improvements to the Alpha, Águilas, and Fabres chairlifts. This will ensure more consistent operations across important areas of the mountain. Additionally, La Parva is investing in expanded snowmaking coverage, which will allow for top-to-bottom skiing on the Alpha chairlift, improving conditions early and late in the season.

Both resorts are introducing new dining experiences. Valle Nevado is adding a second food truck at Cima Ancla, offering quick meals at high altitude. La Parva is opening a new bistro at Alpha Base, serving French-inspired cuisine throughout the day.

La Parva is expanding its retail and rental offerings, including a new La Parva Store in the Parva Chica area and an expanded rental shop at the Alpha base.

For the 2025 season, the resorts are introducing a joint access option, allowing visitors to ski at both Valle Nevado and La Parva with a special add-on to their day tickets. This option will be particularly beneficial for guests staying at either resort.

Valle Nevado's 2025 season is scheduled to begin on June 20. Skiers and riders interested in these Chilean resorts can find more information on their respective websites: vallenevado.com/en and laparva.cl/en.
