Vail Resorts Expands Epic Pass to Include Sölden, Austria

Vail Resorts has announced the addition of Sölden, Austria to its Epic Pass for the 2025/26 ski season. This expansion comes just before the May 26 deadline for purchasing the Epic Pass at its lowest price of the year. Sölden, located in the Ötztal Valley in Tyrol, is known for its high-altitude terrain and glacier skiing, which provides reliable snow conditions from autumn through spring.

Sölden offers skiers and riders 89 miles of slopes served by 31 lifts, including access to two glaciers. The resort is investing in new infrastructure for the upcoming season, with two high-capacity lifts planned to improve glacier access. Beyond skiing, Sölden features unique attractions such as the 007 ELEMENTS James Bond experience and the ice Q gourmet restaurant, both situated at elevations over 9,800 feet. The resort also hosts events like the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Opening and the Electric Mountain Festival.

Epic Pass holders will receive five days of access to Sölden. The Epic Pass, priced at $1,051 for adults and $537 for children, now includes access to 34 resorts across ten ski areas in Europe, along with unlimited access to 37 North American resorts. This addition follows Vail Resorts' recent announcements of partnerships with other Austrian ski areas including Saalbach, Zell am See-Kaprun, Mayrhofen, Hintertux, and Silvretta Montafon.

Sölden's inclusion in the Epic Pass lineup enhances the value proposition for skiers and riders looking to explore European ski destinations. The resort's mix of reliable snow conditions, modern lift infrastructure, and unique on-mountain experiences aligns with Vail Resorts' focus on providing diverse and high-quality skiing options to pass holders.

For those interested in experiencing Sölden and other Austrian ski resorts, the Epic Pass offers flexibility in planning ski trips across multiple destinations. Vail Resorts continues to expand its European offerings, providing pass holders with increased options for international ski adventures. As the May 26 deadline approaches, skiers and riders have the opportunity to secure their Epic Pass at the current price, which includes additional benefits such as Buddy Tickets and Ski With a Friend Tickets.
