The new leadership structure at Burke Mountain also includes Kevin Mack, the former GM, transitioning to Vice President of Transition Services. He will oversee business services, including hotel operations. Kevin Fortier joins as CFO, bringing valuable experience from growing Pete and Gerry's Organic Eggs into a national brand. Bear Den Partners has also assembled a team of advisors with expertise in various aspects of resort management, including business development, hospitality, food and beverage operations, and marketing.

Jon Schaefer, part of Bear Den Partners, expressed confidence in the new team's ability to guide Burke Mountain through its transition while maintaining the existing operational structure. The advisors, all skiers, snowboarders, or mountain bikers themselves, share a passion for the resort and the region.

Burke Mountain Resort is gearing up for a busy summer focused on infrastructure improvements. Recent updates include the arrival of new snowmaking pipes and repairs to the Mid-Burke Express chairlift's motor. These enhancements are part of a broader strategy to improve the resort's facilities and guest experience.

The ski area, located in East Burke, Vermont, is known for its challenging terrain and beautiful surroundings in the state's Northeast Kingdom. With the new leadership team in place, Burke Mountain aims to build on its strengths and develop into a premier year-round destination for skiers, riders, and outdoor enthusiasts in New England.
