Club Med Considers New Ski Resort at Mont Tremblant

Club Med is exploring the possibility of building a new all-inclusive resort at Mont Tremblant, one of Quebec's popular ski destinations. This potential development comes after the success of Club Med's location at Le Massif. The company is currently in advanced discussions with Mont Tremblant and the Brivia Group to bring this project to life.

The proposed resort would feature approximately 300 luxury rooms, situated on the Versant Soleil side of the mountain. It would be part of the L'Hymne-des-Trembles real estate development. The project is expected to create nearly 300 jobs, with about half of the workers living in on-site housing.

While the timeline isn't set in stone due to necessary financing and permits, the current goal is to begin construction next summer with an opening date in December 2028. This development could potentially lead to the realisation of Mont Tremblant's previously announced plans for a new chairlift and terrain expansion in the area.

The move to expand into Mont Tremblant follows the successful opening of Club Med Québec Charlevoix at Le Massif in 2021. Since its launch, that resort has served over 130,000 guests and maintains an average occupancy rate of 75%.

Mont Tremblant, located in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, is known for its diverse terrain and vibrant village atmosphere. The addition of a Club Med resort could further enhance its appeal to both domestic and international skiers and riders. As plans progress, more details about the project and its potential impact on the ski area are expected to be announced.
